The Child’s Health Book is the quality evaluation standardby which the goals set by the health policy are measured. All sorts of information on the child go into the book such as height and weight, absence due to illness, nutrition and sleep, play, social skills, delicate and rougher physical mobility and creative development.
The evaluation is made with detailed recording of the child’s development and skills. Evaluation is made every spring and fall and the results recorded into the Child’s Health Book followed by an interview with the parents where a teacher explains the evaluation to them. The records give the teachers a solid discussion base in reviewing the results with the parents. This provides an objective overview on every aspect of the development of the child. The Child’s Health Book belongs to the child and is always confidential.
